Welcome to A Splash of Imagination, our first Create With Ginny art challenge! Every painting has a story, but sometimes that story isn't finished. I've started this painting with layers of color and texture. Now it's your turn to take it somewhere new! Use the digital painting tools to add your own colors, shapes, patterns, and creative touches. Experiment with paintbrushes, pencils, pastel crayons, and even sandpaper to create something uniquely yours. There are no right or wrong ways to create. Let your imagination lead the way! How to Create
Welcome to Create With Ginny! Start with one of Ginny’s unfinished paintings and make it your own. Experiment with colors, textures, and marks—there is no right or wrong way to create.
- Choose a tool. Try solid, textured or dripping paintbrushes, a palette knife, pencil, pastel crayon, watercolor, marker, dots, splatter, or shapes.
- Pick your color. Adjust brush size and opacity to get the effect you want.
- Draw on the painting. Your marks go on a separate layer; Ginny’s original artwork stays protected.
- Try sandpaper. Scratch and distress your added paint to reveal the original painting underneath.
- Make changes. Use Undo, Redo, Eraser, or Clear my marks as needed.
- Submit your artwork. Enter your first name, email and artwork title, then submit for Ginny’s approval. After approval, you will receive a private download link by email.
